An NVQ is an industry/sector related qualification that is competence based, you will learn relevant theory/practices, new skills and up-skill in your current skills.  You can complete an NVQ if you are employed in your chosen subject area or if you have access to a work placement.  You could be eligible to avail of government funding to complete NVQ’s for further information on funding click on Apprenticeships.
