DFPF Ltd. Organisation Background

In August 1992 the organisation was officially launched as Dairy Farm Community and Employment Services providing training courses to the local community. Due to continued expansion of the organization over the years, the company is now operating as DFPF Ltd (Trading as Dairy Farm Training and People 1st) through 4 offices, Dairy Farm Training in West Belfast, People 1st offices in Lisburn, Banbridge and Belfast.

In 1994 the company became the first training organisation in Northern Ireland to achieve the prestigious Investors in People Award and Dairy Farm Jobskills was acknowledged as a Recognised Training Organisation (RTO) by the Training and Employment Agency. In 1994 the same unit became the first Training Organisation in Northern Ireland to obtain the Jobskills Quality Management System (JQMS).

Under the trading name of People 1st, in 1997 the company started to increase its focus on the private market, offering training and business advice to companies throughout Ireland. Alongside the more traditional methods of learning, the company also offers on-line training to local private and business communities. This has added to the high volume of learning already available to the local community.

On 1st January 2008, DFPF Ltd took over Graham training which involved taking over premises in Lisburn and merging staff from the Belfast and Banbridge offices into our exisiting provision.
