DFPF Ltd (Trading as Dairy Farm Training / People 1st ) were recently awarded the Apprenticeship 2010 Partnership award along with fonaCAB, at an award ceremony in the Europa Hotel.  People 1st delivered Management training through the ApprenticeshipNI programme to fonaCAB managers.  This training had significant positive impacts on fonaCAB performance indicators, including a 30% reduction in customer complaints and a reduction in staff turnover. In the same ceremony People 1st Management apprentice Joe Watson was recognised by being shortlisted in the category for Most Promising 1st Year Apprentice award.  
 

Caroline Bell, Centre Manager People 1st (Belfast)  said “People 1st are delighted that their Partnership with Fonacab has been successful in winning this award.  This accolade to the Management Apprentices in Fonacab is well deserved!  People 1st welcome the opportunity to work with employers through the ApprenticeshipNI programme to up-skill their new and existing employees in various occupational areas.”
 

Another People 1st achievement came with the Essential Skills Award ceremony in Hillsborough Castle with People 1st Childcare apprentice Kerry-Anne McCrory being shortlisted for the Award Winner 2010.
