Course Description
Healthcare workers can be based in Care Homes., Domiciliary Care, hospitals or community settings. With People 1st and the Department for Economy (DfE) funding, you can gain a nationally recognised qualification through one of our Health & Social Care Apprenticeship programmes. Completing a Heath & Social Care will allow you to gain the necessary skills and qualifications required to work in this dynamic industry and start a valuable and rewarding career.
Entry Requirements
18 – 24 years old working 21 hrs or above in a relevant job role
All aged groups, must be employed or working voluntary in a relevant job role
Assessments
Oral and written unit assessments through student portfolio with practical vocational observation by a qualified Assessor; Witness Testimonies and Professional Discussion.
Progression Routes
Students can progress to higher education, it also provides opportunities for progression to the QCF Health and Social Care Level 5 and other elated qualifications in the sector.
