Course Description
This level is ideal if you work in logistics operations and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and meeting required standards. You hope to progress into first-line management.
To earn a qualification, you must complete a range of mandatory and optional units.
NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Logistic Operations Min 21 credits
Mandatory Units include:
Improve performance in logistics operations
Provide leadership for your team in logistics operations
Allocate and check work in your team in logistics operations
Optional units – to be arranged
Duration
12 - 24 months depending on course and individual circumstances
Assessment
Oral and written unit assessments through student portfolio with practical vocational observation by a qualified Assessor; Witness Testimonies and Professional Discussion.
Entry Requirements
Aged 16 – 17 years old Or Young person with a disability and be under 22 years old, Or Young person who qualifies under the Children (Leaving Care) Act (NI) (2002) and who is under 24 years old.
18 – 24 years old working 21 hrs or above in a relevant job role
All aged groups, must be employed or working voluntary in a relevant job role
Progression Routes
Students can progress to higher education, and lead to a Level 5 Award in Management
